Sdkfz 232 in 1/35 by Mark Bannerman

Here is a photo feature to show the results on one of his fine blogs from Mark Bannerman in Canada.  Using the older Tamiya kit of the Sdkfz 232, Mark backdated it to the earlier 231.  If you read his excellent blog (to which there is a link below if you missed it or simply want a reminder) he used the now old Tamiya kit plus extra detailing such as the etched brass set for it from Eduard.

With the finished model given a bit of background thanks to Photoshop, you get a good idea of how effective this looks.  My thanks to Mark for sharing his build with us, and for sending through the set of pictures for this feature.  You will find it includes a couple of pictures of the unpainted model so you can see some of the changes made to the basic kit parts.
