Ashigaru Archers in 1/72...

In their Art of Tactic wargames range, Zvezda have released a couple of 1/72 figure sets for the Japanese era of the Samurai.  This one is for Ashigaru Archers, and a subject I know little to nothing about.  The Ashigaru were the foot soldeiers, employed by the feudal Samurai.  These can be mounted on a single base, to use as a gaming unit, or each figure also has an individual base.  You also get a choice of red or yellow for the colourful flags carried on their backs.  The group base has one spare space, I assume to add a Commander figure to go with them, which can come from their other Samurai set.  Certainly more colourful than we usually see for 20th Century warfare.
