Revell 1/32 Westland Lynx Mk 88

This is really nice to be able to bring you news of a new 1/32 Westland Lynx Mk 88 that is coming from Revell.  No box art, no finalised instructions and no transfers, but Revell UK have been kind enough to send us one of the test shots for their new large scale Westland Lynx which we have an opportunity to show you here.  Photos of the various parts sprues are in the album below.

There are options in the kit clearly for surface to air missiles, torpedoes, a door gun or dipping sonar to be fitted depending on your chosen configuration.  Lots of nice detail inside the cabin, inlcuding the quilted instrument panels and seats, and if you go for the dipping sonar, then the operators seat and all the equipment to pretty much fill the cabin.  Very nice panel detail both inside and out.  I am ging to have a go at this one quite quickly, just to see how the kit builds.  On first inspection I found a tiny bit of flash on one or two areas but remember this is only a test shot, not the final production mouldings.  The first sub-assemblies are going together well, more on this later.
