Gary Radford's build of the Trumpeter 1/35 15cm sFH 18

In looking to find something to occupy the mind following a series of bits of bad news, Gary recently got set into building the Trumpeter 1/35 kit of the German 150mm sFH 18 and carriage.  Aside from the basic build itself, one of the questions was what colour.  What started as a dark Panzer Grey one became a DAK desert sand coloured example, one with a well worn finish commonly seen from the equipment that was effectively 'sand blasted' by the abrasive environment of use in the North African desert.  Here we can see the end results of all the work that Gary put into this, and for those who missed it or want a reminder, there is a link to his fine blog below.
