A new release in their range of 'Fast Assembly' wargamers models, Italeri have released the M4A3 Sherman, armed with the 76mm gun.  As the series suggests, these are designed as fast assembly kits aimed primarily at the wargames market but they are also ideal to encourage youngsters and who will find them easy to assemble.  I believe they make a great introduction to modelling for them.

Two full kits are included in the box, so excellent value for money.  Neatly moulded, track assemblies are in one piece, which fit to pins on the hull.  A shame but the turret hatches are moulded shut.  Three marking options are provided for, all from 1945.  One is in a snow camouflage of white, in Belgium in January '45 while the other two are both plain Olive Drab and set in Italy.  Overall very neatly done and clearly these are a successful kit range for them as they continue with new releases on a regular basis.
