...the feature from the blog

Chipped, weathered and worn, regular member 'Mac' McConnell returns with a feature of his completed kit of the T-90. A recent release from Zvezda, Mac liked this new kit a lot, and you can tell that from the time he put into the blog and build, painting and finishing of this super end result. Finished in a modern multi-colour camouflage, quite different from the plain green we are so used to seeing on Russian equipment, take a look at the detail photos in the album below to see the effects for wear and shipping on the paintwork that Mac does so well, along with the dirt of accumulated weathering for a tank that has been out and put to work.
Once of the points I especially like is the detail inside the crew hatches on the turret, as the sights are there to be seen through the open hatches, something you quickly spot on the real thing, and in the past so often ignored in kits. A very nice kit in the first place by Zvezda, and seeing how Mac has worked some magic on the painting and finishing, a super end result to an equally excellent blog.
Thanks to Mac for sharing this with us, and for sending through this set of pictures. If you missed the blog, or just want a reminder, there is a link below.
