Introduction
Although there's not yet a massive range of figures from this manufacturer, they did get off to an auspicious beginning with some fantastic modern figures. The company was formed by John Long and Anders Heintz, both of whom are already well-known figure sculptors, in an attempt to supply modellers with a range of high quality resin figures at an affordable price.
The Figures
The set includes two figures, packaged individually, within the blister pack, and protected by foam chips. A cardboard photographic insert displays the contents and acts as painting guide.
Both figures are supplied as one-piece bodies, with separate heads, with the Officer figure having his left arm supplied separately as well. Very little flash can be found, and no air bubbles of note. All parts had already been removed from their pouring blocks, although the amount of residue remaining on each part varied from almost none, to quite a lot as on the feet of the Officer figure.
The casting is first rate. Detail is sharp, and as mentioned, there's no flash to be found, and no seams on these two either. The Officer figure is posed wearing a camouflaged, reversible parka, hood down and with a peaked hat. The other figure is wearing a field cap with one-piece camouflaged coveralls. The headgear on both figures carries the Totenkopf of the SS, whilst the belt buckles are completely devoid of detail and would benefit from the addition of one of the many PE replacements that are available now.

Sculpting-wise, the figures are not quite up to the standard of the earlier HELO releases. The figure with the folded arms has arms of uneven length, and the position of the folded arms looks unnatural.
Conclusion
There's no doubt that both figures within this set are beautifully cast, and represent good value for money. The one fact about the set that just upsets it a little is the pose of those folded arms. Still a good set though!
Many thanks to Duncan Buchanan for the review sample.
