...the Accurate Armour kit as built by Neil Doman

In recent months we enjoyed watching member Neil Doman have a break from aircraft for a bit and turn his hand to the 1/35 resin model of the Foden IMMLC (or DROPS) from Accurate Armour. A big and impressive truck, this is one of those models which is quite complex for a resin model, but packed with details. Neil did a great blog on his build, and you can find the link below if you want to refresh your memory. It is a big kit, and at around £200 is not as cheap as plastic, though Neil has shown just what a fine model you get as a result of the build, and many hours of enjoyable modelling.
With the extra fittings associated with Operation Herrick, such as the GPMG mounted over the cab and the mesh screens over all the windows it has of course the lifting gear associated with the demountable 'flatrack' on the back. My thanks to Neil for sharing the build with us, and of course for sending through this fine set of pictures showing the completed model. I am sure you will join me in congratulating him on such a fine end result.
