This is another of a number of new topic areas introduced in March 2009 which will give us a framework to post some articles which are aimed primarily at reference information for any seaborne or naval subjects.  Examples that come to mind are such as the Landing Craft that put troops ashore in Normandy, Sicily, across the Pacific or maybe carried patrol craft on the Mekong Delta or the rivers of Europe and Russia. It is intended primarily for such craft associated with troop landings or patrol craft rather than naval vessels of destroyer size or larger, but if members have an interest in these, there then you are welcome to submit them.

In addition to content from over the years of Military Modelling magazine itself, any member of this on-line community is invited to submit material on any of their own subjects they may wish to add.
