What is a Navy Ensign?
In the world of navy ranks, an ensign is a junior officer stationed in the United States Armed Forces, including the navy, coast guard, air force, and marine corps. An ensign in the navy is the fourth junior grade of commissioned commissioned officers and holds a pay grade of O-1.
